David Thurston White, III, “Trey”, age 49, passed away on Dec. 31, 2020 in Orlando, FL of natural causes. Trey was born on Sept. 22nd, 1971 in Tuscaloosa, AL to David Thurston White, Jr.  and Sarah Sherman White. The family moved to Longwood, FL in 1981, and Trey graduated from Lake Brantley High School in 1989, where he excelled in basketball. He moved on to the University of Alabama, where he met the love of his life, Leslie Singleterry. Trey was a member of Sigma Chi, and graduated in 1992, at which time he and Leslie began studying law at Cumberland Law School in Birmingham, AL.  They graduated Cumberland in 1995, and were married in 1996, starting their practice of law in Birmingham, and then moving to Orlando in 2001. Trey was admitted to the bar in both Florida and Alabama, and was a practicing attorney with Nation Law Firm. Trey was an accomplished athlete, having completed several marathons and tri-athlete events. He adored his family, and was at every dance recital, sporting event, or play in which they participated. Trey poured out a lot of love in 49 years, and had many travel adventures with his family, but by far his favorite times were on the boat on Lake Conway with Leslie and the children.

Trey was preceded in death by his father, David T. White, Jr., and is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Leslie Singleterry White, his daughter, Helen Grace White (17), and twin sons, Harrison and Hamilton White (14), who are all three students at Boone High School, his mother and step-father, Sarah and Robin Parkhouse of Orlando, sister and brother-in-law,  Allison and Bill Paxton of Jupiter, FL, parents-in-law, Melvin and Lou Ann Singleterry of Orlando, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ashley and Shawn Good of Oviedo, brothers-in-law Steve Lefleur of Rockledge and Brent Lefleur of Weatherford, TX, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Everyone loved Trey. He loved unconditionally, and was a faithful and loving husband, adoring dad, and precious son. We hold tight to the hope of the resurrection and that in the fullness of time, we will see Trey again. To God be the glory for the gift of Trey in our lives.

Arrangements are with Carey Hand Colonial, and the family is under the spiritual care of Discovery Church. Services are pending, and will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation in Trey’s name to Big Oak Ranch, P.O. Box 507, Springville, AL  35146.
