Michael Banks

Michael Banks, 61, beloved husband, father, brother and son, was called by God through Jesus to heaven on September 13, 2021 where he was greeted by his mom, dad, sister Lisa and father-in-law Bobby Jim. He entered this world on August 11, 1960 in Honolulu, HI, born to Donald and Phyllis Banks. He is survived by his wife Jacquelyn Banks; sons Andy Banks, Caleb Banks and Nathaniel Banks; brother Troy Banks; sisters Smiley Terry and Dana Myers; second mom Donna Banks. Michael was always the one that everyone gravitated to with his welcoming character and his special way of telling great stories. He was kind, generous and never knew a stranger even in the grocery store line. He was tough and he was stubborn but always defended the underdog and not once hesitated to protect family and friends no matter what. The greatest part of his legacy are his sons and the wonderful men they are or will become. He always said to his wife "God brought you into my life to find my faith and me into yours to test your faith".

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 24th, 10am at Christ Church of Orlando, 2200 South Orange Avenue, Orlando, FL, 32806. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the church as Michael loved his church dearly. Many Blessings.
