Pamala Blow

July 2, 1963 — April 30, 2021

Orlando

Pamala Renee (Whitman) Blow passed away at the age of 57 on April 30, 2021.

Pam was a lifelong resident of Orlando, Florida, born on July 2, 1963, to Walter Ray Whitman and Marian Lois (Mintz) Whitman. She graduated from Edgewater High School in 1981 and married the love her life, Thomas Wayne Blow, on October 10 that same year. They welcomed the births of their three sons with great joy and love: Wayne Thomas Blow, May 16, 1984; Nicholas Ray Blow, November 29, 1985; and Kyle David Blow, July 14, 1993.

Pam was a devoted wife and mother. She dedicated her life to building a home for her family, as a homemaker and worker outside the home. She was actively involved in Little League with her husband and sons, attending practices and games with a smile and all kinds of supplies needed to support hot and hungry boys.

In addition to raising her sons, Pam was active in worship and service at her local congregation, South Bumby church of Christ. She was a beloved teacher of the baby Bible class, being the first teacher of so many of the children of the church. She had a special gift for babies; they lit up for her and learned so much in their early years. She was an example of faith and goodness to those around her.

Pam was everyone’s best friend. She was a listener, counselor, and sympathetic crier, and was always ready for a good joke, to be silly, and laugh. She loved people and invested her time and emotions into building strong relationships.

When diagnosed with esophageal cancer in October 2020, Pam fought valiantly with every option offered. After discovering the cancer had spread, Pam continued to fight, leaning on the Lord and her family. Despite the grim prognoses and the difficulties she encountered with her treatments, she fought with courage, strength, and grace. Pam’s faith, dignity, and firm belief in a future glorious home allowed her to continue to be a positive and beautiful influence to all who knew her.

All who knew and loved her will mourn her absence, yet we praise God for the end of her suffering. We look forward to our beautiful reunion.

Pam is predeceased by her father, Walter Ray Whitman. She is survived by her loving husband Thomas Wayne Blow; beloved sons Wayne Thomas Blow (Terri-Sue), Nicholas Ray Blow (Jessie), and Kyle David Blow (Kelli); precious grandsons Peyton, Parker, Paxton, Gus, Easton, and grandson of the heart, Kolton; mother Marian Whitman; and sisters Stephanie (Whitman) Walters (Gary) and Katherine Whitman.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Pam to The American Cancer Society or your favorite charitable organization.
