Raymond C. Roberts, 73, of Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully in his home on July 21, 2020, after a brave battle with cancer. Raymond never complained and had a smile and so much appreciation for all that helped him on his journey.
Raymond was born in Atlanta, Georgia on May 22, 1947. Moving to Cocoa, Florida when he was 5 years old he had a great love of the water and was an avid surfer. He graduated from Cocoa High School, Brevard Community College and the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications/Radio-Television. Raymond worked the majority of his career in the Audio-Visual field.
Raymond had many loves, baseball being at the top with the Atlanta, Braves his beloved team. He was also an expert handyman/craftsman and had great enjoyment in home remodeling and other home projects over the years.
Predeceased by his mother, Louise Ozburn Roberts; father, Frank Roberts and brother, Jack Roberts. Raymond is survived by his loving friends Janice “Binnie” Coughlin, Jim Metz, former wife Darryle Roberts, The Coughlin Family and many dear friends. He will be greatly missed by all who were lucky to have known him.
