Wayne Charles Sullivan was born on January 21, 1931 in Kewanee, Illinois to John and Bernadine Sullivan. He passed away on April 29th surrounded by his loved ones in his beloved home.
His priorities in life were his love for God/church and his family . He is survived by his wife Clara, of 67 years, his daughters Amy Hicks (Mike), Wendy Yovaish (Darwin) and his son Barry Sullivan (Amorette). He also was blessed with eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren . Wayne was loved by many nieces and nephews.
His career was as a defense contracts negotiator but his true calling was serving others. Wayne was an elder in the church since the age of 28 . He was instrumental in the building of St Stephen Presbyterian Church in Orlando. Later in life he enjoyed his ministry of service to the shut-ins and sick with his homemade soup and jam.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Stephen Presbyterian Church on Saturday, May 8th at 1 PM with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church in his memory.
