Elizabeth Frey

Elizabeth "Bettie" Louise Frey, age 98, Orlando, FL, died on January 18th, 2022. Bettie was an Orlando native.  She attended old Orlando High School and then Sullins College in Bristol, VA.  She worked for the Florida Dept. of Agriculture for 37 years and volunteered for Florida Hospital (now Advent Health) for over 50 years.  Bettie was a lifelong member of the Cathedral Church of St. Luke in Orlando and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She belonged to the Orange County Historical Society, Orlando Science Center, Orlando Museum of Art and The Theatre Historical Society of America.

Bettie is pre-deceased by her parents, The Rev. Frederick Frey and Geraldine Heddins Frey.  She is survived by cousins Mrs. O. Babbitt of Oviedo, Mrs. C. Iseminger of Orlando and Mrs. G. Medlin of DeLand.

A Funeral Service will be held 11AM Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in the CAREY HAND COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 2811 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, FL. Interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando, FL.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cathedral of St. Luke, 130 North Magnolia Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801.
