Robert Eugene Johnson

July 6, 1941-September 4, 2021

Known as "Bob" to family and friends was called home on September 4th 2021.

Bob enlisted in the Army right after graduating from Georgia Military Academy of Boys and proudly served in the Korean War. After his service, Bob graduated from the Police Academy as Law Enforcement was his passion. He was a retired Police Captain from the New Orleans Police Department 5th District. He was a S.W.A.T Team member for many years. He had specialized traing with the FBI and numerous law enforcement achievements.

Bob was a 31 year Mason and he was an affiliated member of the Shrine, Scottish Rite and the Order of Eastern Star.

Bob was also an avid bowler for many years and he also bowled a couple of 300 games.

Bob is preceded in death by both his parents H.E. Gene Johnson and Mabel S. Johnson and his son, Raymond E. Johnson. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 58 years Beryl O. Johnson, his daughter, Cynthia J. Jones, son-in-law James C. Jones and his Aunt Hazel S. Bryan and many beloved cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 10th at 12:00PM with Visitation at 11:30AM in the Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment immediately following at Dr. Phillips Cemetery, Orlando, FL.
In lieu of flowers donations to The Boy Scouts of America, The Wounded Warriors or the Russell Home is appreciated.
